I Am A Black Man

I have no idea of what it might feel like to be a black man in America, but from speaking to them and having an African American father who has shared his experiences with me I know that it can’t be easy. To live in fear over simple things like going for a jog, walking home from a store, getting pulled over due to “suspension” , or even just being there and a person who is not of color feels threatened is sickening. To know that our brothers are out here afraid to truly live is not okay and we must take a stand. We must come together to make a stand!

Social media has its ugly side, but with everything conspiring right now I feel as a whole we have been able to see the positive of it & how it truly unites us! If you have been on Facebook, Instagram, or even twitter you might have seen the “I Am A Black Man” movement ! After spotting one I then went down the rabbit hole of finding others. Enjoy this feed of some of the Black Men who inspires to be a change in this world. Let’s uplift these Kings & show them love!

Want to help join the fight and be a change! Here are some resources and ways you can start below.

We are BLACK MEN!…..We build … We don’t tear down other BLACK MEN! …. We have felt the pain of being torn down and we have decided we will be deliberate about building others! If I didn’t tag you, please don’t be offended. I tried to pick people I thought would do this challenge!! All too often, we men find it easier to criticize each other, instead of building each other up. With all the negativity going around let’s do something positive!
